Jeita Grotto is a system of two connected limestone caverns, an upper grotto that can be explored by foot, and a lower grotto that can be discovered by a small boat.
The grotto is characterized by its stalactites and stalagmites wonderfully shaped, that can captivate anyone’s eyes!
As early as 9000 BC, Baalbek passed through many civilizations: Mesopotamian, Roman, Christian and Islamic worship.
The empire of Baalbek is considered as one of Lebanon’s most prized historical treasures, where people can discover the great three temples of Bacchus, Jupiter and Venus, and hear exciting tales about this old city, and how people built such huge structures.
Located in the heart of the Beqaa valley, in a suitable place with good climate for cultivating vineyards, Chateau Ksara is one of the oldest and main wineries in Lebanon, founded in 1857 by Jesuit priests.
Aside from the multiple kind of wine, a tour in the caves of the winery is offered for visitors to hear Ksara winery’s story.
