The Lebanon honeymoon of Sara and Pete
Sara and Pete, a young couple from California, had always dreamed of travelling to Lebanon for their honeymoon. They had heard so much about the country’s natural beauty, rich culture, and delicious cuisine, and they couldn’t wait to experience it all for themselves.
After months of planning and researching, they finally booked an 8-day Lebanon Holiday Package with Beirut Daily Tours. They requested that the tour be extra luxury and special, as it was their honeymoon after all. They wanted to make sure that they would have an unforgettable experience.
Their journey began in the bustling capital city of Beirut. As soon as they arrived, they were greeted by their tour guide, who took them to their luxurious hotel in the heart of the city. After a good night’s rest, they were ready to explore Beirut’s rich history and vibrant culture.
Lebanon honeymoon dream
Their first stop was the National Museum of Beirut, where they learned about the country’s rich cultural heritage and its history. They were amazed by the ancient artifacts and the incredible collection of Phoenician, Roman, and Byzantine art. They also had the chance to see the famous Ugarit tablets, which are considered to be one of the most important discoveries in the history of the region.
The couple spent the next few days exploring the city, visiting famous landmarks such as the Martyr’s Square, the Grand Mosque, and the famous Souks of Beirut. They loved walking around the city’s charming streets, admiring the beautiful architecture and trying the delicious local cuisine. They also had the opportunity to take a sunset cruise on the Mediterranean Sea, which was one of the highlights of their trip.
After a few days in Beirut, they headed to the Bekaa Valley, a picturesque region known for its rolling hills, lush vineyards, and traditional villages. They visited a local winery, where they learned about the process of wine-making and had the chance to sample some of Lebanon’s famous wines. They were so impressed by the quality of the wines that they ended up buying a few bottles to bring back home as souvenirs. They also visited the ruins of the ancient city of Baalbek, one of the most impressive Roman ruins in the world.
The couple then made their way to the Chouf Mountains, a rugged and beautiful region located southeast of Beirut. They hiked through the lush forests and took in the stunning views of the valley below. They also visited the historic town of Deir el Qamar, a charming village known for its traditional architecture and rich cultural heritage.
Finally, they made their way to the southern city of Sidon, a coastal city known for its historic castle and beautiful beaches. They spent their last days in Lebanon relaxing on the beach, taking romantic walks along the seaside promenade, and admiring the Mediterranean Sea.
As their trip came to an end, Sara and Pete knew that they had just experienced the honeymoon of a lifetime. They had fallen in love with Lebanon’s natural beauty, rich culture, and delicious food. They knew that they would return to Lebanon one day, to experience more of its beauty and history. They also knew that they would always cherish the memories of their honeymoon in Lebanon, it was truly a dream come true.

What Customers Say
This is a great day trip I highly recommend! You will get to see two memorable UNESCO world heritage sites, have a filling lunch & then enjoy a short tour along with some very pleasant wine tasting at Lebanon’s oldest winery.
One of the best things about this tour company is that they not only keep the groups small, but pick you up & leave you off very close to where you’re staying, (if not right in front). I found this to be a huge convenience!
As a foreign tourist, I would not suggest going solo to Baalbek, but would definitely recommend going there with Lebanon Tours and Travels. Everything is well organized & done for you.
The ride in their van was very comfortable & we all felt safe & very much at ease.
The Roman temple ruins in Baalbek are truly remarkable. They are not to be missed! On top of this, I couldn’t help but notice the picturesque snow-capped mountains in the distance. This backdrop only added to ruin’s splendour. Luckily, we were given ample time for photo ops.
If you’re going during the hotter months, bring water, sunscreen, a hat & comfy shoes. These will come in handy especially when walking through the two archeological sites.
I think that having our last stop at the Chateau Ksara was a perfect way to end the day. A guided walking tour of their Roman-era underground caves through the labyrinth of tunnels, was very cool in every sense. It is in this very unique cellar where their famous wine is stored and aged. The wine tasting was naturally a very welcome part of the tour.
This day tour is very easy to book in Lebanon. When I was in Beirut a friend of mine booked it very easily by phone. Just bring the exact amount on the day of the trip & you’re good to go.
To conclude, it was a very worthwhile tour which once again, I would absolutely recommend.
